Tropical Showers (Kissimmee, FL)

Carolina Cloud strikes again... we officialy have had 21/23 rain days since we left on tour. We spent lots of time in the rain today between our 3 rehearsal blocks. Im personally getting real tired of all of the rain... But the cloud coverage from the sun is always nice.

During brass sectional block, the high brass was arced up working on some show segments when the sun came out and we saw a full rainbow. It was really pretty.

During our evening ensemble block, it started to lightning. We ended up doing our run through with 45 minutes left in rehearsal. Since the weather wasnt really doing much damage to us, we ended up rehearsing more after the run... Pretty unorthodox, but its better to be proactive than to not get to do a run through...

I personally felt that we had a phenomenal day. Everyone was really excited about winning the regional last night and we used that energy in a positive way. To make things even better, we just found out that we are performing last at the San Antonio regional on Saturday! This gives us an awesome opportunity to have a great performance in the Alamodome... I am really excited!

We are in Pensacola, FL tomorrow for a rehearsal/laundry day. Its around a 450 mile bus ride... So I am going to try to get some rest...

Later days,
Patrick
