'U' In University (5 Days)

Today was a great day. We started out in Visual Block with the snow cone exercise, did some cleaning of drill, and learned some new body movements for different parts of the show. Best of all... we had great weather in the 70's-80's!

For the afternoon sectionals block, we went and rehearsed in the parking lot for Memorial Stadium at Indiana University (Location of the 2008 DCI Finals). It was pretty awesome to see the stadium again... The last time that I was there was for the IU v.s. Purdue football game back in November. We were told before the season started that we should keep our eyes on the 'U' in University on the top of the stadium because that is where we will be projecting to at DCI Finals.

I also got to see Stu Shade and Carley Sullivan today! They both came to watch us rehearse and it was awesome to see them!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING TOMORROW'S SCHEDULE: Tomorrow we will be having a laundry day and our evening ensemble and run through has been pushed back to mid-afternoon... I didnt get any concrete details, but I think that we are done around 5PM so that we can go do laundry and go to Wal-Mart! Should be a good time :-)

Off to bed,
Patrick

Patrick,
It was good to see you last night. You have a very talented corps through all sections. Wow, quite a lot of exposure in both music and visual! If you guys work hard it should take you a long way. Nice dancing by the way. Hope to catch you from time to time this summer.

PS - convince em to put more than just 45 seconds on the Fan Network
